Privacy posture, plain English. Aninaya processes all of your financial data entirely on your device. KaijuBytes does not operate any servers, does not collect your financial information, and is not a Personal Information Controller under Philippine RA 10173. AI features run on your phone by default; if you connect a third-party AI provider via Bring-Your-Own AI, you control that data flow yourself.

On-device receipt scan

Camera or gallery import. ML Kit OCR + on-device Qwen 2.5 small language model extracts merchant, date, total, items. 22 PH-merchant templates for Jollibee, SM, Robinsons, Mercury Drug, Watsons, etc. No receipt photo or text is ever sent to KaijuBytes servers.

SALN module (government employees)

Aggregates accounts and assets into a CSC-compliant Statement of Assets, Liabilities and Net Worth. Exports Annex A / B / C as PDF and DOCX from the official 2025 CSC template. Aninaya is not an official CSC product — accuracy is your responsibility, but the prep work is automated.

AI Planner & Chat (on-device)

Net-worth snapshot, debt-payoff coach, monthly budget review, and natural-language chat. Runs Qwen 2.5 / Qwen3 / SmolLM on your phone by default. Bring your own AI endpoint (OpenAI, Anthropic, Ollama, LM Studio) if you want bigger models — explicit per-host consent required first.

Travel mode + multi-currency

Tag expenses to a trip with country and local currency. FX rates are fetched from a public API at save time and frozen on each transaction so historical reports stay correct even when rates drift. Per-trip budget reports.

Aninaya Bridge

Sync between your own phones over local Wi-Fi. mDNS discovery, QR-code pairing, end-to-end encrypted with mutual TLS + AES-256-GCM. No relay server. KaijuBytes never sees your sync traffic.

Encrypted vault export

Backup your data to a .kaijuvault file (AES-256-GCM, passphrase-protected). Markdown vault export for plain-text archives. Restore on any Aninaya install with the passphrase. You own the file.
