Aninaya Terms of Service & EULA

1. Acceptance

By installing or using Aninaya you agree to these Terms of Service and the accompanying Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not install or use the app. Inside the app, your acceptance is recorded with a timestamp and a checksum of the version you saw — when these terms are updated you will be hard-blocked from continued use until you re-accept.

2. End-User Licence Agreement (EULA)

Aninaya is licensed to you (end user) for personal, non-commercial use on Android devices you own or control. You may not:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app except as expressly permitted by Philippine law (e.g. interoperability under fair use).
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute the app, the on-device AI model files, or any extracted asset.
• Use the app to process or store the personal data of third parties without their explicit consent.
• Bypass the in-app purchase system to unlock Pro / Elite features.
• Use the app for any purpose contrary to applicable Philippine law, including the Anti-Money Laundering Act (RA 9160) and the Data Privacy Act (RA 10173).

Copyright in the app, including all source code shipped to your device, belongs to Orlando G. Martinez (Lanz) / KaijuBytes. The on-device AI models bundled with or downloaded by the app (Qwen 2.5, Qwen3, SmolLM, MiniLM) remain governed by their respective Apache 2.0 / source licences.

3. Subscription Terms

Aninaya offers a Free tier and paid tiers (Pro and Elite/Family). Paid tiers are billed through Google Play Billing. Current prices are shown on the upgrade screen inside the app and on your Google Play subscription page — they are managed by Google Play and may change. This document does not commit to any specific peso amount.

• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date, in line with Google Play policy.
• You can cancel at any time in your Google Play account.
• Refund requests are handled by Google Play in the first instance; please contact Google Play Support for refunds.
• If a paid feature stops working or fails to deliver a service that was advertised at the time of purchase, contact support@kaijubytes.dev and we will work with you to resolve it.
• Pro and Elite features are convenience automation tools — they do not constitute the sale of government forms or certified financial advice.

4. SALN Module

Aninaya assists in preparing the Statement of Assets, Liabilities and Net Worth (SALN) form for Philippine government employees. Important clarifications:

• Aninaya is not affiliated with the Civil Service Commission (CSC), the Office of the Ombudsman, or any other Philippine government agency.
• Aninaya is not an official CSC product. The DOCX/PDF outputs use the CSC Resolution No. 2500632 templates, but generation and content remain your responsibility.
• You are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and lawful submission of your SALN. KaijuBytes is not liable for omissions, errors, or misclassifications in the generated forms.
• The SALN module asks for your explicit confirmation each time you export a form. The exported file is written to your device — KaijuBytes never receives a copy.

5. No Financial Advice

Aninaya is a personal budgeting and tracking tool. The AI Planner, AI Chat, coaching tips, debt-payoff projections, and net-worth reports are informational only. Nothing in the app constitutes regulated financial advice, investment recommendation, tax advice, or insurance guidance. Consult a licensed financial planner, CPA, or insurance adviser before acting on figures the app produces.

6. AI-Generated Content

Aninaya's AI features (Receipt AI, Statement Scan, AI Chat, AI Planner) produce drafts only. By using these features you agree that:

• OCR and AI extraction accuracy depends on receipt quality, device tier, and the on-device model in use. You will review every extracted field before saving.
• AI Chat / Planner replies are pattern-matched suggestions, not certified advice. You will verify any actionable guidance against official sources (BSP, BIR, SSS, GSIS, Pag-IBIG, your bank, your insurer, your employer) before acting on it.
• You will not rely on AI output alone for tax filings, regulatory disclosures (including SALN), legal proceedings, or investment decisions.

On first use of any AI feature, the app records your acknowledgement of these limitations. You can revisit the explanation at any time in Settings → AI & Planning → How on-device AI works.

7. Bring-Your-Own AI Provider Risk

Aninaya supports connecting your own AI endpoint (OpenAI, Anthropic, hosted Ollama, LM Studio, or any OpenAI-compatible API) for AI Chat. If you enable this:

• A financial context summary (account names, balances, debt utilization, salary average, employer if set, active goals, recurring bills, trips) is sent to that provider for each chat turn. See the Privacy Policy § 5b for the full list.
• Your data leaves your device the moment you press Send. KaijuBytes never sees this traffic but cannot make any representations about how the receiving provider stores, retains, or uses it.
• You are responsible for understanding the third-party provider's privacy posture, terms of service, and data residency. KaijuBytes is not liable for losses arising from the third-party provider's handling of your data.
• The app prompts a per-host consent dialog before sending data to a new base URL, and refuses to send to non-loopback hosts you have not approved.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. KaijuBytes does not warrant that:

• The app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of malicious code.
• OCR or AI extraction will be accurate in any specific case.
• The app will be compatible with all Android devices, OS versions, or third-party apps.
• Data stored on your device will survive device failure, OS reinstall, uninstallation, or unauthorised access. You are responsible for backing up your encrypted vault export to a location you trust.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Philippine law, in no event shall KaijuBytes be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, financial records, or government penalties — arising from your use of or inability to use the app. KaijuBytes' total cumulative liability for any claim relating to the app shall not exceed the greater of: (a) PHP 500, or (b) the amount you paid KaijuBytes for the app in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using Aninaya at any time by uninstalling it. KaijuBytes may suspend or terminate your access to paid features if you breach these Terms, though no termination action will require you to delete data already stored on your own device. Sections 5 (No Financial Advice), 8 (Disclaimer), 9 (Limitation of Liability), and 12 (Governing Law) survive termination.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms when adding new features, addressing regulatory changes, or clarifying existing provisions. The updated Terms will be posted at this URL with a new effective date. The in-app version of the Terms is accompanied by a checksum of the body text — when either the date or the checksum changes, the app will hard-block existing users into a re-acceptance flow on next launch. You may decline the updated Terms; doing so will close the app.

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Metro Manila, Philippines. Nothing in this clause limits any consumer-protection right you have under Philippine law that cannot be waived by contract.
